ADVANCED FIREARMS
Learn combat shooting techniques, positions, and movement. This course is designed for more experienced shooters who have tactical load-out gear (i.e plate carrier/Rhodesian vest, slings, and holsters).
Objective
Students will learn gear familiarization incorporated into their weapons handling. After this, students will practice the operators’ standards test used in the SEAL teams with the goal of passing.
Gear
- Valid Illinois FOID card
- Personal Firearms: Pistol or rifle.
- 150 rounds or more of each caliber
- Sling for the rifle
- Holster for pistol (not concealed carry holster)
- Magazines and either a battle belt that can hold spare rifle and pistol magazines or a tactical vest/Rhodesian carrier.
- Clear lens eye protection
- Ear protection
