HOME DEFENSE

Learn the fundamentals of home close quarters clearance (CQC) tactics with a pistol or rifle. The focus of this course is not the external security of your home (i.e.: alarm system, locks, etc.) but how to respond if God-forbid an intruder is able to infiltrate and enter your home.

Objective

You will learn how to move tactically through the rooms and spaces in your home in order to preserve your own life and your other family members’ lives by neutralizing the threat.

Gear

  • Personal Firearm: Pistol or Rifle (Cleared and Safe)
  • Valid Illinois FOID card
  • Eye protection
  • If you do not have one, VGS will provide a Glock UTM pistol with paint ammunition for practicals and scenarios
