CONCEALED CARRY
Learn from VGS instructors that have carried from the concealed position both during low visibility operations with the CIA and protecting dignitaries overseas performing PSD (personal security detail).
Objective
Students will learn more in-depth concealed carry principles and advanced tactics for firing their weapons from concealed carry.
Students will also learn Illinois concealed carry laws and regulations from members of the Peoria SWAT Team.
Students will practice drawing from the concealed carry and shooting from 5-10 yards with realistic-looking paper targets then transition to shooting and moving drills on steel.
Gear
- Valid concealed carry license
- Valid Illinois FOID card
- Personal pistol (cleared and safe)
- Spare magazines with a magazine pouch holder strapped to the belt
- Concealed carry holster
- No purses/Fanny packs etc.
- 150 rounds of pistol ammunition
I highly recommend the Concealed Carry Tactics Class through VGS! My husband and I have already taken the basic CCL course and I feel as if this class is the next step in learning the skills, confidence and knowledge behind concealed carry. Ben and Aaron kept the class interesting and fun! We are looking forward to taking another class through VGS!
I applaud Ben and the team at VGS for a great day of training at their CCW class. I consider myself an above average shooter who has been to many training courses. I learned more from Ben and Aaron in one day of their CCW training than previously in several days of other training. There were several skills they teach that I had not previously ever been taught before that could truly be life saving. I would recommend this class and VGS to anyone no matter what their skill level is. Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect and these guys are definitely perfectionists.
I can not recommend VGS’ concealed carry class enough. I recently acquired the states license to better protect myself and loved ones. Vanilla Gorilla goes WAY beyond the basic logistics learned in the CCL class. Ben and Aaron are awesome. Professional and informative, yet still keep things fun, while safety remaining a top priority. If you’re looking for elite training on one of the greatest rights and responsibilities a citizen can have, look no further.
