BASIC FIREARMS
Learn the fundamentals of shooting from the ground up.
Objective
This course is designed for those who have never fired a weapon to those who have but would like to have a firm foundation on the fundamental level in order to progress into more advanced firearms maneuvers.
Gear
- Personal Firearms: Pistol and/or rifle with their own ammunition
- At least 150 rounds or more of pistol caliber and/or rifle with magazines for both
- Clear lens eye protection
- Ear protection
The Basic Firearm course offered by VGS is an excellent example of what going back to basics, can do. The instructors immediately identified an issue with my grip and I went from modest dispersion shot groups to key-holing bullet on bullet. Their operational expertise coupled with the professional and supportive approach makes for a superior learning environment.
