DESCRIPTION:Defensive Vehicle 1\n\n\n\n\nDefensive Vehicle 1 is an introductory course designed to teach students the fundamentals of operating in and around a vehicle. This course covers vehicle ballistics\, identifying effective points of cover\, proper carry and ready positions\, shooting positions at various distances from the vehicle\, weapons manipulation\, and the practical application of cover versus concealment. \nTopics include\n\nPoints of cover\nCarry positions/ ready positions\nShooting positions and distance from vehicle\nWeapons manipulation and ready positions\nCover and concealment (how to use them)\n\nGear Requirements \n\nClear Lens Eye Protection\nEar Protection\nPersonal Firearm: Pistol or AR .556 Rifle\nAmmo: At least 250 rounds\nMinimum of a second line (battle belt) with proper holster for pistol and 2x extra magazine pouch pistol. As well as at least 1x rifle pouch.\nSling if running a rifle\nPistol/ rifle Magazines & spare magazine pouch for additional mags\nWater / Snack\nProper range attire: Athletic\, tactical\, or comfortable clothing (pants & high-neckline shirt)\nNo low-cut tops (prevent hot brass burns)\nClosed-toe shoes\nDress for the weather\n\n\n\n\nCancellations: Full refund if cancelled within 30 days of class start.
