MEET ZACH JACKSON
INSTRUCTOR
Zach Jackson is an Illinois Native from Peoria. He served in the Army as an Airborne Infantrymen for three years during Operation Enduring freedom. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he went to college and studied Sociology criminology with a minor in counter-terrorism.
He is currently working as a patrol officer at a central Illinois city police department and is an FTO (Field Training Officer). He also is a member of their SRT or SWAT team as an assaulter.
He has worked in the past before becoming a Law Enforcement officer as an instructor in concealed carry and civilian defensive tactics. This has allowed him to provide great insight into various methods for bridging the gap between Law Enforcement officers and civilians in helping civilians understand both Illinois and federal law as they pertain to self-defense while remaining tactically sound.
