CQC 1
This is an 8h introductory course for Officers to learn fundamentals of 2 person deliberate clearance.
Topics include
- Deliberate CQC advantages and application
- Deliberate VS Dynamic (Hostage Rescue) philosophy
- Weapons positions during movement
- Weapons safety and manipulation
- Actions at the door/threshold assessments
- Room pie methods (1& 2 person)
- 2 person actions inside the room
- Prioritization of threats and target identification
- De-escalation methods from the threshold
CQC 2
This is an 8h course designed for Officers to learn 2 person Deliberate clearance with barricades and additional threats inside the room.
Topics include
- Deliberate barricade clearance
- Threshold assessments with barricades inside
- 2 person actions inside the room with barricades/additional threats
- Opposing angles/Cross cover
- Exchange of opposing threats
- 2 person multiple room clearance
- 2 person Hallway & stairway movement
CQC 3
This is an 8h course for Officers to learn team sized (5+) deliberate clearance of an entire building.
Topics include
- Single & dual points of entry
- 4 person room entry
- Dangers of channelized areas
- Team sized hallway movement
- Clearance of various Hallway configurations (L, T, 4 way T, sideways T)
- Barricaded shooter considerations
- Deconfliction
- Team leader flow command and control
CQC 4
This is an 8h course for Officers to learn team sized (5+) Hostage Rescue/Dynamic clearance.
Topics include
- HR actions at the door
- HR actions in the room
- HR barricade clearance
- HR hallway/stairway movement
- Team leader flow command and control
- Active shooter
- Comms and control with Rescue Task Force
